The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, EDAWN, is a private/public partnership committed to adding quality jobs to the region by recruiting new companies, supporting the success of existing companies, and assisting newly forming companies, to diversify the economy and have a positive impact on the quality of life in Greater Reno-Sparks.
On December 12th, EDAWN hosted their Celebration of Business and Industry to recognize the significant contributions of exisiting industries as well as a way to celebrate the region's new and expanded companies. Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company was acknowledged for their continuing contributions to Northern Nevada's economy.
From dozens of applications, TTL was among just 11 existing companies in Northern Nevada to receive the award based on growth of the business and retention and expansion of our workforce. Andrew Cross accepted the award on behalf of the company before hundreds of business and government leaders.
The Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Company team stated "We are honored to be recognized amongst such an esteemed group, and we look forward to working hard for continued success in 2025."
