The Detering Company is excited to announce that David Pogue joins its team as Vice President of Multi-Family as of September 5th, 2023. He will expand The Detering Company’s presence in the Multi-Family market, initially offering doors, lumber, millwork, and windows, while working to increase additional product offerings in order to better serve customers’ needs.

He knows exactly how a high performing company should be structured to be the right partner with this customer base.”

David brings to The Detering Company over three decades of experience in supplying products to the multi-family industry. Over the years he has developed a reputation of partnering with customers to provide valuable solutions through the construction process. David started with Trussway Manufacturing in Houston, TX in 1991. Throughout that tenure, he helped grow the company into one of the largest wood components suppliers in the multi-family segment by developing sales, estimating, design, production, and team leadership processes focusing on performance and accountability. David brings with him to Detering these values, which will guide his leadership approach in this new venture.
