Being the best of the best is standard fare for LMC members. That couldn't have been more true at the 2026 LMC Annual, where Red River Lumber was recognized for their LBM Journal Dealer of the Year award in the $50MM–$100MM category. Red River Lumber has been an LMC member since 2011.
From LBM Journal's feature on Red River Lumber, CEO Mike Craven described the company's growth: "Fast-forward to 2026 and Red River Lumber has become a 135-employee, multi-yard company serving markets with its own design center and distribution partnerships that give it an edge in the region."
On what sets them apart, Craven said: "It's got to be the culture. I'm down the list in establishing it — we've got so many key people. It could be one of our yard guys, one of our drivers, an admin person. We have a lot of people that take it to heart and really work with their teams to create a sense that the customer knows they're in a different business when they walk in one of our locations."
