National Lumber Featured as a Legacy Business in Baltimore

National Lumber of Baltimore, Maryland, an LMC dealer since 2013, has been featured as a legacy business by Baltimore Heritage. Baltimore Heritage is an organization that documents Baltimore’s rich architectural and social heritage.

National Lumber Company was founded in 1919 by Alexander Fruman-- patriarch to a five-generation family business. Alexander, a carpenter by trade, sensed the growing need for custom-made window and door sashes. This sparked the birth of National Lumber Company. In 2000, Kevin and Neal Fruman led National Lumber into its fifth generation of family leadership.

Baltimore Heritage produced a short video documenting National Lumber's legacy in the history of Baltimore. Learn about some of the monumental projects National Lumber has been a part of during their 100 years in business.
