Camp Airy is a Jewish sleep away summer camp nestled by the Catoctin Mountain in Thurmont, MD. Founded in 1924 they have served thousands of children with exceptional summer experiences that last a lifetime. In 2022, Camp Airy’s “White House” dining hall burned down while camp was in session.
During Camp Airy's 100th summer this year, National Lumber Company has been suppling the lumber for the new dining hall that is to be built Fall 2024. National Lumber took a jobsite visit to Camp Airy to view the progress that has been made since supplying the lumber.
National Lumber was founded in 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland by Alexander Fruman; a patriarch to five generation family business.
