Lezzer Lumber, one of the 40 largest building material retailers in the country, is set to acquire Green Hills Lumber & Home Center. The deal is expected to be finalized April 1.
The addition of Green Hills will be Lezzer’s 11th lumberyard location. In total, Lezzer Lumber operates 12 retail facilities, a truss manufacturing facility, and four commercial door manufacturing facilities throughout Pennsylvania.

Lezzer said of the deal. “[Green Hills] Owner Clancy Herr and General Manager Jud Kelly will stay and manage the day-to-day operations of Green Hills. This addition gives Lezzer Lumber the opportunity to expand into the city of Reading and Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks Counties.”
Green Hills Lumber & Home Center has been serving Mohnton and the greater Reading area for more than 40 years. Its 13,000 sq. ft. retail facility features plumbing, electrical hardware, paint, lumber, and a large showroom.
