Team LMC enjoyed their participation at the Umpqua Valley Lumber Association Customer Appreciation Event in Oregon. The UVLA, a collective of timber suppliers, organized this event as an avenue for various vendors to engage in productive networking, share industry best practices, and fortify their commitment to the field. Rob Endres, Department Manager of Boards, and Alex Kopcho, Trader in Boards represented LMC at the gathering.

During their time at the event, Rob and Alex had the opportunity to visit Doug Fir mills and partake in engaging networking sessions with fellow UVLA members. Reflecting on the event, Alex Kopcho noted, “A great benefit of the UVLA event is that it provides LMC an opportunity to connect with our west coast suppliers and allows us to directly strengthen our relationships with them.”

When asked about the significance of LMC's presence at the UVLA event, Rob Endres emphasized, " LMC serves as a substantial purchaser of Timber/Lumber products produced in this region for our Dealers. The majority of the purchases are on behalf of our Dealers, West Coast and East Coast alike.Overall, our experience at the UVLA event allowed LMC to strengthen our relationships with the suppliers and to show why we’re a good avenue to source this material for our Dealers.”

Rob and Alex both agreed that the event provided chances to expand and connect with new lumber mills, learn about how we can work together, and better understand their markets. All of this information comes together to help LMC, and our Dealers make smart decisions.
