Kevin Volz Represents LMC in the Mainline Chamber Class

Kevin Volz, Business Systems Manager in the LMC Technology department, was recently nominated to represent LMC as a part of the 2023 class in the Leadership Main Line program. This six month program, offered by the Main line Chamber of Commerce, provides leadership development through a lens of community involvement. It is designed for emerging leaders who are either new to leadership roles or have been in their positions for several years.

The program provided opportunities to tour a variety of distinctive local venues, including the Devereux Foundation, Cabrini University, Valley Forge Military Academy, Pennovation Center, Kimmel Center, Enterprise Center, Radnor Township Building, and Wawa Corporate Headquarters.

Each venue included an agenda of lectures and conversations with industry leaders. Kevin remarked on the lectures stating, “all the speakers involved in the program brought their own unique leadership styles that were very inspiring and thought provoking.”

The culmination of the program was a class project where they chose a non-profit organization to support. The class chose Teachers' Teammates, which gives free and low-cost supplies to Delaware County teachers. The class developed a thorough project plan that included all parts of the company, with a focus on operations, development, and marketing.

Kevin commented on his experience stating, “I am thankful for having been part of this program and look forward to sharing my new and enhanced leadership skills with my team and coworkers at LMC.”
