Hancock Lumber’s Wolfeboro lumberyard recently completed several exterior renovation projects and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting celebration bringing together employees, customers, vendor partners, and community members. Aimed at enhancing both the employee and customer experiences, Team Hancock’s commitment to reinvestment projects continue.
After a morning of networking, attendees enjoyed delicious food from Mow’s Munchies + Arlene’s Asian Kitchen food trucks, product demonstrations from vendors, and a chance to enter to win some great raffle prizes.
Construction on this project started in July of 2024, with significant upgrades including
- An updated warehouse featuring new and additional racking for improved organization and accessibility.
- Improved site work, drainage, and brand-new pavement throughout the entire yard.
- Five newly constructed lumber trees to better protect and store building materials
Actively engaged in the community—Hancock Lumber's Wolfeboro location's largest commitment is to the school arts department and the Maker’s Mill—a space where people can get training in everything from woodworking to quilting to jewelry making, as well as numerous contributions to many charitable organizations throughout the region.
Hancock notes the renovations will create an easier shopping experience, to maintain the highest quality product, and to better organize and protect these building materials. The team in Wolfeboro now enjoys a modernized and more functional space designed to better serve their employees and customers.
