Team Hancock is proud to announce that Hancock Lumber has been named the 2023 Maine Retailer of the Year! On April 26th, Hancock Lumber’s executive team and retail division leaders accepted the award from the Retail Association of Maine; a nonprofit organization that represents the retail merchant industry before elected officials for policy and voting decisions. The RAM tackles issues such as wage and hour issues, swipe fees, gift cards, worker’s compensation costs, employee benefits, health care costs, taxes and more. Each year they recognize a Maine Retailer that the board feels runs an outstanding retail business and contributes to the community and common good of Maine.
