The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association and Hardware & Building Supply Dealer are proud to announce Guy C. Lee as 2026 ProDealer of the Year.
Based in Smithfield, North Carolina, Guy C. Lee’s origins date back to 1924 as a small millwork and manufacturing company. Over the next few decades, Guy C. Lee Manufacturing expanded to include a retail building supply store and a sawmill. The company has survived lean times and thrived during economic booms. Today, the company operates out of eight locations in the Carolinas and brings an unrelenting focus on customer service to the task of supplying top-tier building materials to the industry.
CEO Cory Jameson said the award reflects the quality work of the team at Guy C. Lee and the Lampe family, the fourth generation of which is represented in the business by Harrison Lampe.

The ProDealer of the Year Award is selected by the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association in partnership with its media partner Hardware & Building Supply Dealer. This prestigious national award is designed to recognize a high-performance lumberyard (more than five locations) with a commitment to values consistent with the lumber and building material industry: excellence in customer stewardship, devotion to its employees and a positive workplace culture.

Guy C. Lee will accept the 2026 ProDealer of the Year award during the upcoming ProDealer Industry Summit, to be held in Chicago, Oct. 5-7. The event is hosted jointly by the NLBMDA and HBSDealer. The Summit provides an educational forum designed to promote the growth of lumber and building product dealers, distributors, wholesalers, and the manufacturers who supply them.
In addition to the ProDealer of the Year award, the summit will recognize Independent ProDealer of the Year for 2026, Ferguson Lumber of Veedersburg, Ind.
Past winners of the exclusive ProDealer of the Year award include: Hancock Lumber of Maine (2022) and McCray Lumber & Millwork of Kansas City (2021) and Zuern Lumber (2025) of Wisconsin, all of whom listed are LMC members. Having three recent ProDealer of the Year honorees within the LMC network is a testament to the caliber of independent dealers that make up the cooperative.
