Deirdre Garland, LMC's Kitchen and Bath Department Manager, is eagerly preparing to attend the Third Annual National Kitchen & Bath Association Women 2 Women Conference (NKBA W2W), San Antonio, Texas. The conference is Kitchen and Bath’s most influential and empowering women’s conference of the year. As a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD), she views this as a valuable opportunity to stay up to date on industry trends and learn from other leaders in the field. 

The conference, hosted by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, is set to gather about 100 women from across the industry. Deirdre is looking forward to the event's unique format, where attendees will be placed in small groups with leading K&B leaders to discuss specific subjects related to kitchen and bath design.

During the conference, Deirdre plans to immerse herself in discussions about the latest industry developments. She is particularly interested in exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on design and understanding current economic trends affecting the market. Additionally, she hopes to gain insights into consumer preferences and emerging design concepts.

Deirdre is looking forward to making meaningful connections with other design professionals and learning from her peers from various sectors, including manufacturers, standalone design showrooms, and fellow dealers. She is looking forward to the inspiring leaders, especially featured speaker, Laura Kohler, Chief Sustainable Living Officer at Kohler. Sustainable design is one of Deirdre’s personal passions.

Deirdre sees the conference as more than just a personal growth opportunity. She is determined to bring valuable knowledge back to LMC, with plans to share insights with our dealer base and implement effective new training ideas. As she prepares for the event, Deirdre feels a sense of excitement about the potential to contribute to and learn from this gathering of industry minds.
