Arnold Lumber Kayaks for a Cause

Arnold Lumber recently participated in the Mist to Mews Kayak & Canoe Race. The event, now in its 10th year, challenges paddlers to navigate a scenic 7-mile course from Ocean Mist in Matunuck to Mews Tavern in Wakefield. This year's race drew over 200 participants all united in support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

The race, which has become a beloved summer tradition in South County, RI, raised $25,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. This national organization provides a wide range of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001.

Arnold Lumber's team, comprised of employees from various departments, finished in the top 20, showcasing both their paddling skills and their commitment to community involvement. The company's participation aligns with its long-standing tradition of supporting local causes and fostering team spirit among its staff.
