Purchasing Intern (Summer 2018)

The Purchasing Intern will have the opportunity to learn about the LMC business, people, culture and industry.  An Intern's responsibilities will align with the responsibilities of our Purchasing professionals. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learn essential programs specific to conducting business within LMC.
  • Develop a summary understanding of the flow of Forest Products and Building Materials from manufacturing to end user.
  • Participate in all areas including invoicing, customer interaction and use of the Purchase Order platform LumberTrack.
  • Participate in all areas including invoicing, customer interaction and use of the Purchase Order platform LumberTrack.

  • Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s Degree program
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates analytical skills and business skills.
  • Values teamwork
