To the casual observer Plywood Supply might look like just a lumberyard but what they don't see is all behind the scenes. They are a finely tuned, high tech operation with technical expertise that includes: a wireless system in the yard allows forklift operators to instantly access the entire network: a dispatcher with four monitors; a satellite map on a large flat screen TV showing the trucks' location and movement in real-time; the precision end trim (PET) saw that cuts a unit of studs at one time within one thirty second of an inch. Plywood Supply, a part of LMC since 2007, is constantly adopting new technology and exploring more efficient methods of serving customers. Their operation encompasses 18 acres - four of which are dedicated to engineered products and include 85,000 square feet of covered storage.
